Millennials Pay Very Little in Income Taxes
In an interesting article from Tax Foundation, Author Scott Greenberg comments on the statistics of millennial income. Millennials are choosing to stay in school longer, and earn smaller amounts of income. Currently, millennials only account for 7.67 of all taxes paid. Greenberg also mentions in his article that in 2013 50,78% of the tax returns filed that contained income between $1 and $25,000 belonged to a millennial between the ages of 18-34.
